A single hands-on track for college cohorts. Five full days from first principles and AI maths through neural nets, transformers, and a shipped campus demo. Certificates are distributed at the end.

Format

Only 5-day bootcamps on campus

We run one format in colleges: five consecutive hands-on days. Mentors stay on the floor. Maths is taught for understanding - not memorized formulas - so every build has a reason behind it.

  • Whiteboard maths for vectors, loss, gradients, attention, and inference
  • Cohort ships a working demo on day five
  • Certificates distributed to students who complete the bootcamp

What we cover each day

Beginner to advanced AI - with the maths that makes it click. Each day is hands-on: explain, derive, then build.

  1. Day 1 · Beginner

    Foundations and the language of AI

    Set up the bench and the mental model. What learning actually is - and the maths you need before models make sense.

    • Vectors, matrices, and why models speak linear algebra
    • Probability, loss, and “fitting” as an idea - not a buzzword
    • Your first tiny model in code: data in, prediction out
  2. Day 2 · Beginner

    Neural nets and learning by gradient

    Build a network by hand on the whiteboard, then train it. Gradients stop being magic.

    • Layers, activations, and forward pass - written out step by step
    • Loss surfaces and backpropagation maths you can follow with a pen
    • Train a small network end-to-end; debug when it fails
  3. Day 3 · Intermediate

    Representations, attention, and transformers

    From embeddings to attention. Work Query, Key, Value maths so transformers stop looking like a black box.

    • Embeddings and similarity - geometry behind meaning
    • Scaled attention: Q, K, V on paper, then in code
    • A minimal transformer block you can explain to a peer
  4. Day 4 · Intermediate

    Applied AI for campus projects

    Put models to work. Retrieval, grounding, and a project brief the cohort can finish tomorrow.

    • RAG and vector stores for real campus documents
    • Prompting vs systems: pipelines that actually answer
    • Start the cohort project - scope, data, and working baseline
  5. Day 5 · Advanced

    Inference, ship, and certificates

    How generation really runs, finish the demo, and close the week with certificates.

    • Prefill, decode, and KV cache - maths and intuition for latency
    • Polish and present a working demo (not a slide-only pitch)
    • Certificates distributed to completing participants

Outcomes

  • A clear path from beginner AI intuition through intermediate systems to advanced inference ideas
  • Working maths literacy - vectors, gradients, attention, and KV cache explained at the whiteboard
  • A shipped cohort demo students can show in interviews or club nights
